Horse Racing Form for Sandown 2 April 2014

Horse Racing - Australia

Welcome to The Profits form guide for Sandown on 2 April 2014. Just a fairly average card on offer with some tricky races. Not overly confident today but do really like Jade’s Boy as long as the rains hit! As always, I hope your form matches up with mine! Good luck and happy punting!

Index
Red means Top pick. Blue means second pick and Green refers to a saver pick. Orange means the pick looks value.

Sandown Race 3
GrandZee is the one I could back here but staying out unless i get $5.

Sandown Race 5
One of the hardest races I’ve seen in a long time. There are so many form lines and first up runners worth considering. There are some runners who are clearly unders but some certainly overs.
I think you have to take A Littlebitofclass on at the weights from the barrier with the times it has run. Looks clear unders to me.
I Love It impressed during her first prep and even ran 3rd in a 3F-GP3 race at MV. Weighted nicely.
Scarlet Billows looks the clear overs of the race. Last prep was impressive and she started favourite in a 3YOF when missed start and was lame. Down 2.5kg from that race in this.
Sense of Hite is a clearly talented horse. 2nd in 3F-LR at Flemington and 0.8L 5th to Minaj.
Cobblestones is one worth following also. 0.8L 2nd to Spirits Dance is a huge form line considering how far this prep that horse progressed. Back to 1000m the key.

Confidence: 70%
Strategy: 1 unit Scarlet Billows, 0.75 units I Love It, 0.5 units Sense of Hite and Cobblestones.

Sandown Race 6
We got the cash last start with Taiyoo with a very very easy win at course and distance in equal class. Today he is only up 0.5kg after claims and it’s hard to give a reason why we couldn’t be on him again today. The price once again looks over the correct odds.
Wind Bender is a horse I have a lot of time for. Ran very well over the 1600m first up and has won 3 from 4 at this distance. Maps to have every chance from barrier.

Confidence 75%
Strategy: Taiyoo to win. Lesser bet Wind Bender.

Sandown Race 7
Some handy types in this race but one stand out I continue to back in the right races.
Jade’s Boy continues to impress and is showing his best this prep. His Good track form is fine, but with 3-10mm of rain expected tomorrow, we could just have a perfect track condition for him this afternoon. He did more than I expected last start in much harder company and looks a great price, from barrier 2 and hopefully pushes forward today as we saw three and four back.

Confidence 80%
Strategy: Jade’s Boy 2 units to place 1 unit to win

Sandown Race 8
4-5 key chances in this one and the market has them right. The one that is over the odds is the Waller import runner Uppercut. If you backed every import that has started in Melbourne over the past year and a half, you are SIGNIFICANTLY ahead.

Confidence 65%
Strategy: Uppercut E/W
