Welcome to The Profits form guide for 18 May 2016 at Ballarat. It’s been a while since we had a Wednesday meeting outside of the Bool carnival worthy of previewing, but there are a couple of horses that more than standout today at Ballarat and we are keen to have more than just a flutter. I’m hoping to get back to regular Wednesday tipping and hope we can enhance on what has been a very profitable day of the week over the past 6 months. Ballarat Race 5 – 1600m – City of Ballarat BM64 Handicap
Vianden is a horse with a load of talent. Last start he ran home well 3rd at Caulfield behind Adirondack in the Vobis Gold Heath where talented types in Honey Steel’s Gold, Bondeiger and Word of Mouth ran behind him. Previous start in harder grade than this was a very solid 3rd to Mihany and previous to that in this grade over this distance just missed the win. Barrier 1 will have him tucked away for a charmed run and he looks very well suited here.

Ballarat Race 6 – 1000m – Hygain BM64 Handicap
Shadowbrook Lass is a horse of potential. The last start run at Mornington saw a very solid win on a Soft 5 track and the sectionals suggest it was more than good enough to measure up and win here again.
