Horse Racing Form – Cranbourne and Canterbury – Friday 8 March 2013

Horse Racing - Australia

Welcome to The Profits form for Cranbourne with one race also covered from Canterbury. A fairly low confidence meeting at Cranbourne tonight. A big weekend of racing ahead with Cranbourne Friday, Flemington Saturday and Moonee Valley on Monday with the long weekend in Melbourne. Fairly average fields this evening as expected, but watch for rail trends to bet into late. Prices and rail trends will be helping form our bets for the evening. Watch early. As always, we hope your form matches up with ours.

Index
Red
means Top pick. Blue means second pick and Green refers to a saver pick. Orange means a speculation pick.

Cranbourne Race 1
He’s Our Tiger: Showed nothing first up. Hard to have here.
Mio Dio: Market your only guide here.
Steely Grey: Price runner with some decent breeding. Market guide.
Synthetic:  Market will guide.
The Bronx: Back down in class here. Off first two runs still looks up against it here.
Love And Obey: Average trial.
Mezeray Miss: Looked well enough last two starts to win this.
Confidence 50%
Strategy: Head to the bar.

Cranbourne Race 2
Buddy Great: Fair trial. Barrier 10 only issue.
I’m Gunna Miss You: Average trial. Market your guide.
Just Do Something: Pretty poor time last start not being able to win. Should be better for first up and can go close.
Prince Stratum: Just keeps finding one too good for him this prep. Should be suited today.
Prince of Perilla: Hard to have on previous runs.
Squires Bay: Not the best breeding around. Market guide.
Unique Assassin: Slowly away and then showed nothing. Off for more than a year so hard to have but obviously they think the horse goes ok where they went first up.
Dylan Miss: Didn’t show much first up. Wasn’t well backed.
Rubyone: Very immature filly but has a load of talent. Will be winning a maiden very soon.
Set To Star: Market only guide.
Confidence: 60%
Strategy: Not very keen here unless our pick comes up around $1.75+ to place, which I doubt it will.

Cranbourne Race 3
Black Sabella: 4YO first up.. market guide. Obviously had issues if only just starting.
Classic Blues: Would need to have a slow track to back today.
Del Cavallo: Didn’t show enough first up. No thanks.
Draw Down: Showed a good run first up but this is much harder after failing last two.
Grab For Power: Market will guide you but another 4YO first up.
Red Bull: Didn’t do much right first up. Could go better today.
Royal Play: Not run in over a year over from Hong Kong. Kent could have trained the horse on well.
Shenanigans: Ran quite well last start. Could go well today.
Te Aroha: Not good enough.
Walk The Lion: Very strong run last start at city class and went close before that.
Rainbow Dane: Has a huge amount of talent but just hasn’t been able to produce enough to break through. Goes well here.
Mr Keith: No.
Confidence 75%
Strategy: Hard to tell what I will do here until prices are given. Walk The Lion should start a short fav while Rainbow Dane should be 2nd fav. Both the key runners.

Cranbourne Race 4
Buddy Love: Not good enough.
Connection: Ran well enough last three starts for 2nd, 2nd and 2nd. Can improve today and win.
How About Harry: Look to two back form. Has ability.
Lake Eerie: Much harder race today. Did show enough last start to suggest can run ok.
Trevor: Hasn’t shown anything this prep.
Apparos: Not on last two runs.
Bullseye Rumble: Not here.
Mcnulty: Showed enough last prep to suggest can return in good form today.
Must Confess: Started $101 first up in Group 2 company. Was lame after race. Suggest if they thought he could be good enough there… can be here.
Fleur De Louis: Win wouldn’t shock, but I couldn’t have today.
No Imperfections: Ran well enough last start. Could improve again.
Cash Rules: Hard to see the win off last two starts.
Confidence 65%
Strategy: Not sure I want to be involved here unless there is a big price on offer for Must Confess AND he looks well.

Cranbourne Race 5
Secret Stealth: Presented very well in the yard last start at Moonee Valley and ran in for 3rd. Could run well today.
Audino: Impressive run last start at Flemington behind Dany The Fox who is flying at the moment. Will be getting out late and running on.
Taxi Joe: Put in two VERY good wins two preps back at Cranbourne and Sale over 2000 and 2200m. Last prep seemed to go backwards. If comes ready today, has the ability to blow them all away. Could be value.
On Tour: Ran well enough two back but didn’t handle the Heavy last start. Ignore that run and has a nice chance today.
Ferocia: Simply just ignore last start run where too far back. Can run ok.
How Fairdinkum: Ran well enough back in class last start at Pakenham. Up against it today.
Royal Express: Has some good form lines behind Grand Sai Wan off two decent wins before that. Looks a big chance here.
Jetta: Not won for a long time. Harder here again.
Confidence 70%
Strategy: Royal Express place price looks backable here. Suspect Audino is too short for the win with others having form lines around him.

Cranbourne Race 6
Danarule: Was due for a win and finally got it two back. Then progressed on again to win a R-62. Equal class today and up 2kg. Has won 2 and placed at other start at distance.
Frisky No More: They went for a chuck at the stumps last start and at least didn’t run last. Has shown enough to suggest has ability.
Moxie Air: Hard to see enough progression here. Does go well at the distance though.
Test The Best: Ignore last start and base on previous run. Can go close on that.
Going Good: Not good enough last two starts and hard to see much changing.
Three Chain Road: Won very well last start. Will need a good run here to win.
Flash O’Brilliance: Has some very good form lines from last prep. Up in distance today and a BIG chance. Could be value.
Hachiman: Not good enough here.
I Maximus: Big win last start. The start of something big for the horse? Not so sure.
Pentimento: Ran well enough two back but last start didn’t show much. Has ability.
Alpine Valley: Very good win first up. Expect she can run well today if Connection wins in earlier race.
You’reJokingMe: Has the ability to win today.
Confidence 65%
Strategy: All depends on the price with Flash and also if money comes.

Cranbourne Race 7
Epona Princess: Ran well enough last start and runs at start of prep behind Style and Princess Layla are enough to win this today. Don’t dismiss.
Later Gator: Keeps putting in strong runs. Needs to get a good run to win this but has the ability.
Lonhruge: Can’t see the progression from first up run.
Lucy Lil: Keeps running well this prep and going close or winning. Off 56.5kg will be there at the finish line from barrier 1. Could be overs.
Mrs Elle: Has a decent first up record and has won at distance and class previously but poor record on track. Money will tell.
Summers Day:Hard to have on previous form lines. This is a step up. Can still run a solid race.
Counted: Looked to be progressive from NZ win but didn’t show it.
Dalmatian Queen: Down in class today after running average at best. Hard to have.
Miss BeautyMate: Hard to have on last three runs.
Zoria: Looks to have ability but first up run was disappointing.
Silver Trinket: Last three runs don’t seem good enough to win this.
Hindu’s Girl: Looking for further.
Confidence 75%
Strategy: Happy to be backing both our picks for small win bets each. Lucy Lil a huge chance if the rail is playing well.

Cranbourne Race 8
Beneficiary: Average run last start in much harder class and back to a winable race today off 57kg after claim. Rates to win today.
Buster McGee: Nice win last start but this is much harder up in class.
Jacovian: Showed nothing first up but if jumps well goes ok.
Seven Cities: Runs well at track and won well start to finish last start. Could be going close today.
Beau Dash: Didn’t show anything last start at Moonee Valley. Hard to have.
Tricky Boy: Needs to find more today.
Manihi Rocks: Not progressive enough this prep.
Endless Pleasure: Big run last start and previous run also. Back down to 1200m first up, could run well.
Nicskioffski: Not good enough on last two runs.
Stiletto Rock: Big win two back in maiden company. Ignore last start. Go close.
Magic Of Emma: hard to have but form lines work out ok.
Bold Scipt: Has won first up before at distance as well. Hard to see in this class though.
Lady Jodalyna: Ran well enough last start at 1400m but this looks hard first up.
Tale Of Two Cities: Not good enough here.
Confidence 70%
Strategy: Need to see prices for this race

Canterbury Race 7
This looks like a cracking race. Expect Let’s Rock’n’Roll to keep Senta De Noche honest out the front. Both horses have huge ability but we are keen on an old favourite in Medusa’s Miss who will take a sit and off 55.5kg be hitting the line hard. Place price looks value.
Confidence 75%
