Horse Racing Form for Bendigo and Grafton on 9 July 2014

Horse Racing - Australia

Welcome to The Profits form guide for Bendigo and Grafton on 9 July 2014. Well, how exciting was Lord of the Sky on Saturday? There was a leader bias at Caulfield, but there is no doubt LOTS would have won by at least a length even without it. Super run, super ride and we can expect to see this horse competing for a Group 1 in the Spring. Onto today, we have two runners at Bendigo that are of interest while our Best of the day comes at Grafton in the main race. As always, I hope your form matches up with mine. Good luck and happy punting!

Bendigo Race 6
It’s not often I’m willing to back a horse with 62kg, but I find it hard to ignore Hill Spy at the price today.. 3YO class back to BM-64 today, he has measured up at the highest class possible in his grade range and just missed a few times. Handles it slow or dead and 62kg in this class is suitable. Barrier is the only issue but I expect they will push forward and try and take a positive position without spending too much juice.

Strategy: Hill Spy to win

Bendigo Race 7
Awesome Bro was outclassed first up but ran Lord of the Sky to 5L blocked for a run and giving LOTS 3.5kg! Next start was too far back off a slow pace and finished off nicely enough. Last start had issues in run and poor post-race recovery.
Back to a very winable class today and the wetter the better.
Maps to get back today but will be in the right spot and the speed should be sufficient.

Strategy: Awesome Bro E/W

Grafton Race 7
Two stand out runners here today for me.
Hidden Warrior has been primed for this race today. The first up run was solid without showing us too much. He isn’t a heavy tracker and the dead to good track today is ideal.. Maps to get the ideal run just behind the leaders on the rail and if he runs up to his peak, he will be there at the end fighting for the win.
Big Money is the stand out runner here. Beating home Cape Kidnappers last start in a Group 3, this is a step back in class today and he is still weighted very well. Barrier 1 is nice, but not ideal and Thompson will have to give him a good ride. If he gets out at the right him, he simply wins as long as Hidden Warrior doesn’t peak today.. then it should be a battle.

Confidence 85%
Strategy: Back Big Money to win. Saver Hidden Warrior.
