Caulfield Race 2
Zedi Knight: Comes into this race weighted to win. After 3KG claim, you look back at the last two races at course when running 0.4L 3rd to Vatican and previous to that 1.5L 2nd to Mr Make Believe. At lowest weight in open class for a while and there doesn’t seem to be an overly powerful pace in the race. The key for mine today is the 1000m trip. His best runs have come at 1000 and 1100m while he hasn’t stayed the 1200m recently.
Broken: Showed enough first up but overraced and did alot wrong last start. Hard to write off today but certainyl needs to improve.
Last Gift: Looks unders in the race. Never won at class and first up won a race that Zedi Knight also would have won by 2.3L or better off 60kg. Does look progressive but no right to be this price today.
Black Jack Boy: Looks the most progressive of the lot. Times were sound last prep and off 52kg could be hitting the line hard.
Confidence 80%
Strategy: The 8 year old Zedi Knight looks the one to be on here. The place price is the most enticing of the lot.

Caulfield Race 3
A number of chance sin this race. Flash of Doubt was pretty poor first up but is a super horse on her day and has every right to be winning here. April Rose looks very progressive and is weighted to win today and looks to be at the very least a saver bet while Bel Prince is the absolute stand out for mine. Simply forgive the first up run, didn’t handle the heavy, and comes in weighted very well today. Won 4 from 6 at distance including much harder class wins such as a 1100m win beating Rebel Bride in Open Class and then a F&M win with 59kg. Came over from Tasmania and is just suited big time here. Massive overs.
Confidence 85%
Strategy: 2 units to place 1 unit to win on Bel Prince. Or 1.5 units Bel Prince win and a saver bet on April Rose.

Caulfield Race 4
One of the most open races of the day. Vizhaka comes up favourite but is the form strong enough this prep to suggest a win? Infinite Energy is one who is high on talent but hasn’t come back in best form this prep. Win wouldn’t shock.
Triple Tee for mine is the stand out. Suited by the distance and is weighted well enough back in class. Last three runs in similar class have been 0.4L 2nd, 1.8L win and 2.5L 3rd to Khalifa who won very well that day. Perfect barrier and looks over the odds.
Confidence 70%
Strategy: Small E/W on Triple Tee

Caulfield Race 5
I’ve heard a few people saying Angelology is well suited today, but after being on a two runs back, I couldn’t get back on. Looks up against it once again on the last two runs.
Harry Trimbole keeps putting in solid runs but disappointed last start. Back in class heavily, you would expect he needs to win this or may be back to spelling?
Fabriano is a horse with a load of ability. Comes into this very well today with Newitt picking up a smart ride. The price is massive value and you can expect him to go close.
Confidence 70%
Strategy: Backing Fabriano E/W.
