Horse Racing Form for Sandown and Launceston 26 February 2014

Horse Racing - Australia

Welcome to The Profits form guide for Sandown and Launceston on Wednesday 26 February 2014. Well what a weekend of racing we saw on the weekend. A few of our best bets got out done but we landed the goods in all the races that counted with Earthquake smashing them all. Taking on Bull Point and Rubick were both heavy plays as we suggested and they worked out very well. We are taking in another 3YO up in WFA grade today over in Launceston, the horse has gone up at unders once again. When reading the tips, read carefully. The best of the day is only a back IF the track is dead! As always, I hope your form matches up with mine! Good luck and happy punting!

Red means Top pick. Blue means second pick and Green refers to a saver pick. Orange means the pick looks value.

Launceston Race 8
This race is fairly simple for me. Even at the weights, Epingle should be winning this.. but I also want to see a Dead track closer to time of jump before I’m willing to back Epingle. That no win record with 11 goes at Good tracks is concerning.

Confidence 85%
Strategy: Back Epingle to win IF THE TRACK IS DEAD

Launceston Race 9
This race is wide open, but a few runners represent value.
Let’s start with The Cleaner. The odds were wrong last start, this horse really isn’t suited to 2400m at that speed.. back to 1600m today and he looks well in back in this class at this weight over this distance. Early odds of $6.2/$2.40? Look great!
The one I like at odds is Youthful Jack. Ran well enough first two runs and up to 1600m today which looks suitable, I can see him testing these and is big overs.

Confidence 80%
Strategy: The Cleaner E/W. Smaller win bet Youthful Jack

Sandown Race 3
Sinhala is back in class again today back to Sandown and is weighted to win off 53kg today at 1400m. Just ignore last start when was made to lead and wasn’t suited. Will take a sit today and if produces similar to two back run, she will go very very close at great E/W odds.

Confidence 75%
Strategy Sinhala E/W

Sandown Race 5
Two stand outs in this race. Nella Fantasia can be forgiven for last start considering the rail that was given up.. just ignore that and have faith, very well into this race today.
The other runner is Dasilva. Looks to be progressing and is one of the big chances today.

Confidence 75%
Strategy: Back Nella Fantasia. Smaller bet Dasilva.

Sandown Race 7
Tough race on paper. I’m not sure I can get involved for any great confidence.
The favourite here Turquoise King looks very short, but this yard places their runners well and he looks well in today with only a small step up in class. I couldn’t back but I couldn’t lay.
The Bowler showed me enough last start to suggest he can go close today. Won’t be so far back is the key considering the slowish pace ran last start, looks a genuine chance.
Cahier looks the overs in the race to me. 56.5kg looks well suited and last few runs have had merit… long way back though.

Confidence 70%
Strategy: Back The Bowler. Saver Turquoise King.
