Welcome to The Profits Wednesday form. Some fairly average fields around and nothing stuck out up in Sydney even with Medusa’s Miss running (the race is just too open). There are one or two clear bets today at Sandown so we are happy to look towards this track. As always, we hope your form matches up with yours. Good luck and happy punting!

Sandown Race 3
Two main chances on previous form. Taxi Driver was strong last start at Caulfield and will go close again today. Could be able to lead this all the way. Signal Fire was unlucky last start running well at Caulfield and could be winning here today.
I think Taxi Driver wins, but at the prices, happy to not get involved here.
Sandown Race 4
An absolute nightmare race with so many chances. At the bottom of the list you have Song of Joy and Rhandara coming off 7L and 5L maiden wins. You then from top down have Return Jouney first up off 60kg who won very well at big odds at Caulfield last prep by nearly 2 lengths, Prettyhappyaboutit who ran 3rd behind Day Procedure who is down in class off 56kg, beach Front who is down 3kg today at weights after 3.5L 3rd to Angels Beach and then 1.8L 5th to Lamingtons and then finally Double Dee who in harder company started $3.50 fav last start.
Return Journey is the one who sticks out on form who will be going forward from the outside gate. As long as Noonan controls the pace, she will be hitting the line hard and be incredibly hard to pass.

Sandown Race 5
Seven horses with chances here so you need to find the right price if you want to get involved.
Starting from bottom up, Pretty Adamant is one not to dismiss. Was a strong enough run in much harder company last start and has the ability to go close. Tilla Bell Rings is very well weighted today meeting Gogonski 3kg better off today and should beat him home, but his form is strong so you never know. Mulaqen has every chance to win last start at course and may be suited better by a run on less race affected ground? Will have every chances today again.
At the top of the board you have Valedictorian from the Hayes yard who is down in class today after a very strong Caulfield run and is up 3.5kg. Word Gets Around can be forgiven for last start but is up in weight also today – did lose a plate last start. Finally, you can’t dismiss the run of Zevada last start here behind Sharalam.

Strategy: Zevada should eat up the extra 400m today and looks a nice price. Just a small E/W go.
Sandown Race 6
Another race with several chances.
Cross of Gold was good strong last start behind Rugged Cross. Up 7kg today but down in class, should position closer to speed today and run well.
Tower of Lonhro was strong in much weaker class last start. Needs to find more but times were sound and weighted well.
Red Rain was super unlucky last start when lost a plate during run when you consider how game he was to the line. No claim today and Williams onboard, Will need a fair bit of luck to get into a nice spot is the only issue. Will go close.
Tranquera Never placed first up but last start ran very well in races harder than this. Can’t dismiss.
Generalife ran well enough first up at MV but has to pass a wall of horses here today. Needs luck.
Finally, Marielle was very strong last start hitting the line hard. Down 1.5kg today and a big chance.

Strategy: Happy to back Red Rain again here today while Marielle needs to be backed also.
Sandown Race 7
Champagne Ruby is the stand out here. Was very strong last start in much harder races and if produces similar run today from barrier 2, will be very hard to beat off 56.5kg with Katie on board.
Aneto can’t be dismissed here. Will need luck from dead last again today but has all of the ability to win this.
Motto’s Gem and Chit Chat on Bendigo runs have chances.
