Sandown Race 6
There are so many chances in this race, I couldn’t possibly have a bet on it. Secret Stealth, Khalifa, Ametsis, Vizhaka, Euhorbia, Liberty Rock, Dash Divine, Elfina and Cross of Gold all have claims. Ametsis does stick out at the price down in class from a quality race while Vizhaka is a horse I am willing to follow second and third up this prep as he showed a lot last prep. Khalifa if anything looks like a lay at the price off 59kg, giving 4kg to Cross of Gold for 1.5L behind last start for example.

Sandown Race 7
Valedictorian: Main threat to the favourite today on previous runs. Down to 57kg and from barrier 2 should get a strong enough run.
Nordic Duke: Never ran at distance previously but last win was over 1600m. Ran well enough last start but off this weight will find it hard.
Tower of Lonhro: Ran well enough last start over 1700m to suggest can run well again today. Speed maps well but this does look classier than las two good runs. .
Our Chateau: Never won first up and never won at distance. Looking for further.
Index Linked: Very very strong win last start at course off a slightly shorter distance in a very fast time. Suggests will be fine with extra 300m and up 3kg today looks fair. 2nd placed Moscow Pearl then went on to run 2nd in a big field at Flemington. Form lines best of the day.
Balayeur: Poor last start over longer distances. Previous two runs strong enough in lesser company. Must improve.
Chappell: Won 2 placed 3 from 6 at distance but last three runs hasn’t come within 3.5L in lesser company. Hard to see today.
Princess Mossman: Hasn’t been able to win the last 8 starts of this prep after winning in much eaiser company. Keep sprogressing but looks even outclassed here again off 53kg.
Pea Biggy: Not good enough for this class of race.
Prince Jester: Maiden winner at this track but last start in lesser company at Mornington couldn’t get a win. Looks well in at the weights but has to find a length or two for mine.
Priority Road: Maiden winner. Average last start and previous run only fair. Hard to see the progression.
Confidence 90%
Strategy: Very keen on Index Linked after an impressive win last start. Should progress into Open/Listed class this prep.
