Sandown Race 2
Vain Attraction has had a little break after a poor run last start at Caulfield, but the previous four runs were very solid with 2nds to Tariana and a 3rd to Loveyamadly. Significantly back in class today and only off 56kg, will be hard to beat.

Strategy: Expecting around the $3.50-$4 price (hopefully more). Another one to watch on the day.
Sandown Race 5
I hate this rate with a passion. I couldn’t tip anything here, but because it is part of the Quaddie, I will give my numbers. I am overly confident in the final three legs, and the Betfair promo is perfect for this confidence. If we lose the first leg, but win the final three, we get out money back.
Quaddie leg one: 5, 7, 9
Sandown Race 6
Four key runners in this race.
Let’s start with the two with similar form lines. Verification and Chile Express finished next to each other last start at Bendigo behind a horse Muhaajir who has won 3 of last 4 races. Chile Express has never placed from 3 tries at this track (2 of last 4 runs here). Verification ran well enough but just seems to not get there in this class (0 wins from 15) – Chilie is 0 wins from 10. Chile Express speed maps better than Verification.
Host Of The Party is a big chance here today. Has shown large ability on previous runs and is weighted nicely once again today. Could position slightly further forward today and go close.
The horse we like here is another Waller import targeted at Sandown. Mulagen was placed in this class over in UK. Has ability and weighted very well today, won 2 and placed 2 first up.

Quaddie leg two: 3, 4, 6, 13
Strategy: You are taking Mulaqen on trust here, but this is a horse ridden by Mosse, O’Shea and Hanagan over in the UK. Everything points to at least a place here, but I expect he will win.
Sandown Race 7
Three clear runners here.
Tyanna went very close for us last start. After claim will be off 56kg today (up 2kg). Can go further forward today like last prep over 1600m when ran on so well.
Eternal Optimist put in a huge run last start 1L behind Scarletini who lines up in a major race in WA this weekend as $2 favourite. From barrier 1 out of Hayes yard, will be pushed forward like last start and is a massive chance to go all the way.
Hogan’s Warrior ran very strongly behind Sino Eagle and Ryanna last start. Big issue is speed map position.

Quaddie leg three: 2, 7, 10
Strategy: Unsure on prices this far out. Expect Eternal Optimist to open favourite and Tyanna 3rd/4th fav. Will huge my bets from there.
Sandown Race 8
Four horses stand out here.
Aashiq can be forgiven for last start run when injured during race. Will push forward to a better position today but barrier 18 is a huge negative.
Patience was an eye catcher last start and Boss given the ride again. Issue with how far he goes back though.
Academy Jack is the horse with the biggest upside here. Down in class the last three runs running 4th, 4th and 3rd. From barrier 2 can position forward enough (even if positions back can still run on very well) and Duric given the ride, this is the time for him to win 4th up.

Strategy: Academy Jack 2 units to place 1 unit to win.
