The James Fanshawe-trained Dandino, a 25/1 shot, finished powerfully for a British one-two in the $1.5 million event. Joshua Tree landed this race two years ago for his former trainer Aidan O’Brien. Another British compatriot, Wigmore Hall, finished a creditable fourth for Michael Bell under Jamie Spencer.
