NBA – Monday 14 February 2011 – Betting options & tips

nba

With 6 games on the cards we have looked at each game and given our reasons behind each pick.

We have listed the games in order of preference. This means number 1             is the most confident bet while 6 is least confident. I     hope   they     help   you with your tips and picking a winning   bet.

Rank Away Home Win Touch/Don’t Line Reason
1 San Antonio New Jersey San Antonio Touch -3.5 Spurs have won 8/10 (lost to Philly + Portland) New Jersey have lost 6/9 (wins against Charlotte + hornets + Denver). Spurs won last game they played by 24 while Nets lost by 10.
2 Clippers Milwaukee Clippers Touch 10.5 Milwaukee have lost 7/8 (win over Toronto) while Clippers have won 5/8 (Charlotte 15 home , Milwaukee 7 Home, New York 8 Away). Last 14 games Milwaukee have only won 1 game by over 10.
3 Lakers Charlotte Lakers Touch -1.5 Charlotte have lost 6/9 while Lakers have won 5/7 (lost to spurs + Orlando).
4 Portland Minnesota Portland Touch 2.5 Portland have won the last 4 in a row by 6, 6, 6 and 5 while Minnesota have lost the last 2 in a row by 11 and 20 against Indiana and Philly.. Portland have won the last 3 meetings between these teams by 5, 10 and 11.
5 Denver Houston Denver Don’t 7.5 Denver have lost 4/5 on the road (beat Minnesota). Houston have won 2/4 recently including a win at Denver over Denver by 5 ( Martin had a big game) . Denver are up 2-1 in this series. Gut says Denver will turn it around with a 7.5 line as Houston have lost their last two to Dallas and Minnesota.
6 Atlanta Detroit Detroit Don’t 9.5 Series tied 1-1 (Atlanta win at home by 9, Detroit win at home by 23). Atlanta lost last 2 at home (Charlotte by 2 and Philly by 34) before that just getting over the line against Washington by 7 and Clippers by 1 (Toronto by 13). Detroit should get the line but am unsure how Atlanta will perform.

To achieve this line, we are using www.centrebet.com.au and we are             choosing the PICK YOUR OWN LINE method allowing us to get   as     close   to     $1.50 odds for the matchs as possible. We   are   putting   the same     amount on   each bet. While we have   listed 4 options to touch, we   will   decide an   hour before the start of     matchs the exact number   we will   touch. It   is     normally   between   3-6.
