NBA – Saturday 12 March 2011 – Betting options & tips

nba

With 9 games on the cards we have looked at each game and given our       reasons behind each pick. For the last week, we have been taking     shorter   odds and less bets to increase our profitability.

We have listed the games in order of preference. This means number 1       is the most confident bet while 9 is least confident. I hope   they     help   you with your tips and picking a winning bet.

Rank Away Home Win Touch/Don’t Line Reason
1 Memphis Miami Memphis Touch 14.5 Memphis have not lost by this amount in 39 games. Miami have won 1/6 recently and their win over the Lakers was thanks to their bench finally playing well. Memphis have taken all recent teams to the wire and will again.
2 Philadelphia Milwaukee Philadelphia Touch 8.5 Philly lost only 3/29 by this amount recently to better teams. Milwaukee beaten poor teams (cleve + wash) by 19 and 20. Phily lead series 2-0 coming off a win over Boston by 3.
3 Utah Chicago Chicago Touch 0 Utah have been terrible as of late. Having won 3/10 compared to Chicago 8/10. Chicago won first meeting by 5 in Utah. Enough said
4 Sacramento New Orleans Sacramento Don’t 14.5 Having followed the New Orleans closely recently, they are playing well and should be hard to beat over the coming weeks. Sacramento have lost 5 of last 6 games but have been within 6 points in 4 of those losses to teams such as Orlando, Portland and Spurs! New Orleans are too short a price.
5 Detroit Denver Detroit Don’t 16.5 Denver destroyed Phoenix with the whole team contributing. Detroit not lost by this amount in 18 games. Detroit played well against Spurs and Oklahoma recently.
6 Lakers Dallas Lakers Don’t 8.5 Lakers won 8 of last 9 while Dallas won 2 of last 4. They did dominate New York. Dallas won last meeting by 9. Lakers should bounce back and are better matched against Dallas. Will be close
7 Clippers Washington Clippers Don’t 6.5 Washington have lost 9 of last 10 games. Lost at home by 19 to Milwaukee! Clippers won 4/5 beating some good teams. Will be too good and 6.5 line is great.
8 Portland Atlanta Portland Don’t 7.5 Portland were killed by Aldridge shooting poorly yesterday and Bobcats clutch bench work. Atlanta did not go well against Chicago. Very unimpressive. Portland should be the better team if they ‘turn up’.
9 San Antonio Houston Houston Don’t 10.5 Spurs have been shaky in their last 3 games. Houston have been playing consistently well. Houston not lost by this amount in 17 games since playing Spurs. Houston won 7 of last 9 and only lost both games by 3 points.

To achieve this line, we are using www.centrebet.com.au and we are                         choosing the PICK YOUR OWN LINE method     allowing   us   to   get   as     close   to     $1.25 odds     for the   matchs as     possible.  We   are   putting   the   same       amount   on     each   bet. While we   have   listed 3   options   to touch,  we will be touching all 3.

The Profits was first created in 2010 as a hub for owners Drew and Euan to share their knowledge. Since then, our team has expanded over the years, and we now have eight individual writers now employed to share their knowledge on specific sports. “Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.”
