Full Form Geelong 16 December 2015

Horse Racing - Australia

Welcome to The Profits form guide for 16 December 2015 at Geelong. A frustrating day yesterday at Bairnsdale with a leader bias emerging and both our runners having to go the widest in the turn in their races, both missing by under 0.3L running second for a small loss for the day. That’s racing and that’s variance, you know it will happen and you take comfort in the fact you tipped the horse at the right odds when it goes so close. Onto Geelong and we have a bit of confidence on this card. Looking to turn the week around with a good result today. As always, i hope your form matches up with mine. Good luck and happy punting.

Red means Top pick. Blue means second pick and Green refers to a saver pick. Orange means the pick looks value.

Geelong Race 5 – Iamhere @ $3.50 for 1.5 units to win. Tizso Wicked @ $7 for 1 unit to win
A few chances on paper but two stand out. Iamhere’s trial was hard to miss. Showed signs of the very best run we saw last prep and looks the oods here from the inside barrier. Tizso Wicked with D Oliver onboard will have the gun run from barrier 2 – had almost two months between the trial and this so will have trained on – maiden win was good enough to back here and so was the last start run in BM-64 when ran 2nd beating 3rd in by 4 lengths.

Geelong Race 6 – Secret Blend @ $4.25 for 2 units to win
I have a lot of time for this horse, especially down in this grade today. Huge run first up drawing a wide barrier and going back to near last with cover. Sprinted home to run second. Will be much fitter for three weeks between runs and finds the perfect barrier in 5 today to get a sit no worse than midfield. Has tactical speed to sit anywhere they want to put her and 1200m looks the ideal distance.

Geelong Race 7 – Boundary @ $3.80 for 1 unit to win.
Ignore the fact she even went around last start over the unsuitable 1100m. Her very best runs in the past have been over the 1400m distance and that’s what we are dished up today. Barrier 5 means she should find a midfield at worst position today to have every chance. Flew home first up at Mornington against the bias and is 1 run for 1 win at this track, so we know she handles it.
