Welcome to The Profits form guide on 5 February 2016 for Mornington and Moonee Valley. It’s a tough day on the punt with quite a few races to choose from. We are playing it safe with a few E/W bets and a place bet. Yes, you know we like Fab Fevola to go well at MV later in the night also, but at the $6.50/$2.30, he is around the right price and just not alot of value without setting a back and lay in-play. Mornington Race 6 – Friendwithbenefits for 0.75 units @ $6/$2.25 Each-Way
Ran very well two back behind a quality horse in Military for 3rd at course and distance. Back in class here and last start at course/distance/class won well by over a length at similar odds. Weighted nicely with the claim.
Mornington Race 7 – Skyfire for 0.40 units @ $10/$3 Each-Way
Maiden win was over 1600m in a very nice time at Bendigo. Looking for tempo on today. Lowest class he has ever competed in today back to a CL1 here and from barrier 5 will get a nice spot in running. Started $3 favourite last prep in BM-64 over 1600m and this is a much lower grade race.
Mornington Race 8 – Schneller for 1.25 unit $2.20 to place
Well back in class here and has been competing in much harder this prep and performing better than the form most bring into this. Good barrier the key… if he jumps well he places.
Moonee Valley Race 8 – Proclamation for 0.75 units @ $8/$2.70 Each-Way
Proven over this distance last prep. Two runs in have been very solid for mine and he looks well suited in this class today. Ready to win.
