Racing returns to Sandown on 30 December 2015. We started back with a Tuesday midweek meeting yesterday and got the chocolates with two confident bets, one winning and the other money back + interest on the place. Onto Sandown and I have to say, this is one of the hardest cards for a while there when you look later into the day. That being said, I think i’ve found a bet that is GREAT value in a race with limited winning chances coming back in class off two very solid runs and is suited by the small field size. Sandown Race 2 – I’m A Tiger @ $7.50/$2.45 Each-Way for 2 units
Very keen today on this runner back in class after coming home well at Sandown. Should have won the previous start when 6th to Crimson Cape if found clear running from the back in a 15 horse field. Only 9 runners today will see her have every possible chance and I think the price is very much wrong in the market.
Sandown Race 3 – Miss Cooper @ $4.20 to win for 1 unit
Not going to go too hard on Miss Cooper today, but i can’t let her go around here without a bet. There looks to be a much stronger tempo on in this race than what happened at Moonee Valley last start. She will be suited by the much longer straight to grind it out i’d imagine also.
