Horse Racing - Australia

Welcome to The Profits Horse Racing Form for Bendigo on Wednesday 27 November 2013. A fair bit of rain has been hitting Melbourne as of late but we have come up with a decent track at Bendigo for the races today. As normal, only two races of high quality that caught my eye on this Wednesday meeting and i’m confident we can get a result today. I hope your form matches up with mine. Good luck and happy punting!

Red means Top pick. Blue means second pick and Green refers to a saver pick. Orange means a speculation pick.

Bendigo Race 6
A fairly straight forward race with a few chances at odds.
Oltre Finito is the favourite and for good reason. Undefeated from 3 starts, he won his Geelong R-68 by nearly 5 lengths from start to finish in blistering time. He then stepped out on a slow track at Sandown and beat home a good horse in Digitalism by nearly a length after jumping awkwardly and taking a sit. Barrier 5 means he has no excuses getting a perfect run.
Little Bro is a progressive type who went very close a few times last prep without getting a win. He ran within 1L of a win at Caulfield X2 and Flemington X1 last prep over 1200 and 1400m behind very handy horses such as Tigerland and The New Boy. Barrier 9 not the worst today and should position handy. Won twice and placed three times from six attempts at similar distances and has won first up. Mature and would be winning this at best.
Praesentia ran some solid races last prep without blowing us away. Last prep 3rd to Desert Wizard who went onto WFA but didn’t measure up and form lines behind that horse hasn’t turned out well IMO. Looking for wetter IMO.
Union Gap is a sneaky chance today. Last prep was 3L behind Oltre Finito but this prep has won and ran close races. Don’t dismiss.
Edgewood is a nice type who went well last prep including a close 2nd at Flemington to Space over the 1600m. Has won at this distance previously and first up.

Comments: Hard to go past the favourite here but Little Bro does look a big danger if returns at best.
Confidence 80%
Strategy: Oltre Finito 3 units to win. Little Bro 1 unit. Alternative strategy Little Bro E/W.

Bendigo Race 7
Two horses that stand out as key chances in this race.
Wimba is a well bred gelding who almost snatched the win last start from a handy horse in Royal Island who has come out since and missed in harder class in a photo. Up in distance 200m today suits and back to a better surface should also suit. Most importantly, this is easier company. Horse has placed at this track previously and maps to get the lead from a good barrier.
Chilli Beach is a Kavanagh runner who has kind of disappointed the last few runs. She has shown enough without getting close to a win ridden differently the last two starts. Barrier 10 doesn’t help but is weighted ok today.

Comments: Watch to see if any leader bias. Both our runners should position handy.
Confidence 80%
Strategy: 2 units Wimba
