Horse Racing Form for Bendigo – Wednesday 29 May 2013

Horse Racing - Australia

Sandown Wednesday 22 May 2013

Welcome to The Profits Wednesday form for Bendigo. After a few successful Saturday cards in a row, last weekend was an absolute nightmare with form lines not holding up. Onwards and upwards is the only way to go and we get back on the horse today. The card is average at best but there are two races which are of interest. As always, I hope our form matches up with yours. Good luck and happy Wednesday Punting!

Bendigo Race 6
An interesting race. There are three horses that all come out of the same race that I want to look at.
Moscow Pearl ran well behind Notice Received two back for a 0.3L defeat and then last start 1.5L behind Imoto. Amazingly she meets Notice Received 3kg WORSE OFF and 6kg worse off against Crimson Lady.
Simply ignore Notice Received last start and look to two back to see her recent best. Meeting Moscow Pearl 3kg better off today, the only thing that could prevent her beating Moscow Pearl today is a very slow pace out front.
The final runner we like is Crimson Lady. Ignore last start when failed due to track condition and look to two back 2.3L and 2L behind Notice Received and Moscow Pearl. She was slowly away that day, then blocked for runs and then laid in during the final 200m. She meets the horses 3kg and 6kg better off today which looks to certainl suit. Is a big chance today at a price.
Confidence 75%
Strategy: Happy to back Notice Received today for 1 unit and 0.5 units on Crimson Lady.
Shorter Odds: You can back Notice Received head-to-head at $1.89 against Moscow Pearl on Sportsbet

Bendigo Race 8
Three key runners stand out here.
Nanannanananananannaa BATMAN! having his first run in Australia, Batman has been placed over 1500m in 3Y-GP2 class over in New Zealand, won two back over 1200m and then last start before getting on the boat ran 2nd on Heavy over 1400m when going out the front to lead (against his normal pattern). Expect they will try and push a little forward today and hopefully they get in.
If you thought we were done with the cheese.. well think about. Buzz Lightyear…. aka To Infinity (and beyond?) is the other runner that stands out like a sore thumb. Two and three back ran within 2L of General Peekay who would be winning this by a similar margin. Simply ignore last start and look for a better run here. Will be sitting out the back and needs to produce something special.. but he does have the ability.
Ossenhagen comes into this as the race favourite after winning a R-58 by 6 lengths in Geelong (11 horse race). The times were very sound and the horse that ran 3rd has come out and won after that. Down 2.5kg today and looks to have improved significantly since last two runs.
Confidence 70%
Strategy: Hard to go past the form lines around Batman. The weight may be the only issue but I am happy to back him E/W here.
