Sandown Race 2
Three key runners with chances here for mine on this ground.
Innocent Lady:The one to watch today. 2 wins 2 places on Heavy from 5 starts. Wet form was a long time ago and will she be able to come from the back with the 60kg today? Your call really.
Imoto: Never going around on Heavy previously but is 1/1 on Slow and is 2 wins 2 places from 5 starts at class. Ignore two back and look at previous form and she measures up here today.
Spin The Bottle: Hasn’t shown too much this prep but has 1 win from 1 on Heavy and if runs up to two back, is every chance at the weights today.
Confidence 80%
Strategy: Imoto is the class of this race and three of her last four runs wins this today as long as she handles the ground. Am I willing to take short on that she will handle the ground? Yes.

Sandown Race 7
There are a number of runners in this race who have produced quality runs recently but there is simply one hard to pass up.
Arch Fire has been going great runs until suffering the Sydney curse that has been hitting Victorian runners.. they travel up and seem to produce sigifnicantly below their normal form. It didn’t help that the horse was given a ride that wasn’t to normal patterns. Take that run off his record and look to two previous runs at course and distance. Off 55 and 52kg he beat Turner Bayou once and lost by 0.8L off the 55. Today comes into this on a Heavy track which it was the two previous times as well. So why does this form stake up? Turner Bayou just happened to go up to Queensland on a Slow track in the Queensland Cup and win it by over 3 lengths. That franks the form more than enough for me.
Confidence 90%
Strategy: Back to win.
