Despite Limerick failing it’s 8am inspection and abandoning it’s fixture yesterday, the Chris Gordon-trained AKBABEND probably shaded the highlight of the day at Southwell. Having been headed he gamely rallied under a strong drive by Tom Cannon to get back up in slow-motion stuff.
It’s another quiet days racing today with three meetings to get stuck into. There is jumps action from Sedgefield, Lingfield and Huntingdon. The 2.30pm at Lingfield is a race worth looking forward to as the flat jockeys take to jumps.
